What: The Statewide Assistive Technology Conference in Indianapolis, IN
Sponsored by INDATA (Indiana Assistive Technology Act) Project
When: Friday, September 26th 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Where: Indianapolis Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46225
Participating Hotels: Indianapolis Marriott Downtown and The Westin
- Both hotels connect directly to the Convention Center through an enclosed walkway.
- Both hotel are offering 50 rooms for a conference rate of $129/night.
- Registrants must refer to INDATA as the group name to get the discount at The Westin.
- Both hotels have accessible rooms, but the registrant must indicate their request at time of booking.
- Both hotels have valet parking with in/out privileges: Marriott is $28 /day and Westin is $25/day.
- Other parking is available within blocks of the hotels and Convention Center.

AT in Poland! - 9/16/2007
Wade Wingler, Director of Assistive Technology recently returned from presenting at the "Education for All" conference at Warsaw University in Poland. This conference included delegates from a number of European countries who are working diligently to increase the accessibility for students with disabilities on college campuses. Mr. Wingler served on a team representing Easter Seals Crossroads and Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis and spoke about accessible libraries on college campuses.
