The free iBlink Radio app from Serotek Corporation offers radio stations, podcasts and reading services that are of special interest for the blind or visually impaired. The app was designed for the iPad or iPod Touch but is now also available for the Android Market.
Community Radio is the provider for radio services on the iBlink Radio App. All radio stations under Community Radio are operated by people with limited or no eyesight. Community Radio includes genres such as oldies, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, alternative, classic Rock, Old Time Radio and more.
Podcasts are produced by blind or visually impaired people. Topics include broadcasting, computers, radio, technology, independent living, travel and more.
Reading services include narration of newspapers, magazines, periodicals and other print publications. Some examples of publications that are available through iBlink Radio are USA Today, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times.
