John Kelly, PTA, BS was named the 2012 Outstanding Physic Therapist Assistant by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Kelly has represented physical therapy assistants in a number of ways in the APTA at the local, state and national levels. At Easter Seals Crossroads in Indianapolis, Kelley is known to have excellent clinical skills for treating people with disabilities. Often he treats people with a combination of physical, behavioral and neurological disabilities.
The APTA said “Kelly exhibits professionalism and respect for both patients and colleagues, portraying his supervising therapist both verbally and nonverbally to this exceptional category of patients. Kelly’s creativity, persistence and consistency allow him to keep the mission of serving patients at the forefront.”
He has been a member of APTA since 1998 and is also a member of the Brain Injury Association of America.
Kelly works with the INDATA Project on our clinical and tech teams to deliver the best service possible to people with disabilities throughout Indiana.
