077-11-16-12 – National Braille Press
Show Notes
Hi folks. Welcome to “Accessibility Minute”, your weekly look at Assisitive Technology—those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs.
Whether you need to buy Braille books, have your company’s materials produced in Braille or you’re interested in the latest in refreshable Braille display technology, you should check out the National Braille Press. A non-profit organization founded in 1927 by an immigrant who wanted to make Braille materials more available, this organization now offers a wide variety of services and products. Check their web site at NBP.org to learn more about what they do.
For more information, to read our blog or to drop us a line, visit EasterSealsTech.com. That was your accessibility minute for this week. I’m Wade Wingler with the INDATA Project at Easter Seals Crossroads, in Indiana.
