Hi folks. Welcome to “Accessibility Minute”, your weekly look at Assisitive Technology—those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs.

With the holidays upon us, gifts for people who struggle with vision impairment or blindness might be on your shopping list.  There are many options for greeting cards and ornaments that will record your voice and play it back for someone who might not be able to read a traditional card.  These recorded message might be a welcome greeting for someone who has low vision, a learning disability, or otherwise struggles with standard print.  Check our show notes for ideas on purchasing a recordable card or ornament and also instructions on making your own recordable greeting card.
