Show Notes

Hi folks. Welcome to “Accessibility Minute”, your weekly look at Assisitive Technology—those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs.

In the US its summertime and many people are thinking about visiting a theme park.  For some people their disability may prevent them from fully enjoying this classic summertime activity.  The Americans with Disabilities Act specifies that amusement parks, along with other public areas, must be made accessible.  A park in San Antonio, TX called “Morgans Wonderland” opened in 2010 and was specifically designed for the needs and enjoyment of people with special needs and their families. Check our show notes for links.
