142-07-31-15 Nike’s FLYEASE shoes
Hey there! Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assistive Technology, those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs!
This month, the major shoe company Nike has released a new shoe line called FLYEASE. FLYEASE features groundbreaking shoe technology that can grant independence to people with disabilities. Instead of the traditional lacing system found on most shoes, the shoes in the FLYEASE line have a zipper that goes around the back of the shoe so wearers can zip the shoe open with one hand to more easily get a foot in or out.
The FLYEASE sneakers are available now in limited quantities. To learn more, go to Nike.com.
