Hey there! Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assistive Technology, those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs!

Looking for an app to help improve your child’s auditory processing? The Auditory Reasoning app was developed by a certified speech-language pathologist for children ages 6 and up, with central auditory processing disorder, autism, and other related disorders. The app is a fun, cosmic-themed app that will motivate students to practice their auditory skills in the following tasks:

– Identifying what doesn’t belong
– Associations
– Identifying meanings of words in context
– Identifying true or false statements
– Riddles
– Analogies
– Drawing conclusions based on short paragraphs
– And much more!
