Hey there! Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assistive Technology, those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs!
Ring offers many smart home solutions to keep you and your family safe. One of their newest products is their Hardwired Video Doorbell. The company’s newest doorbell features nonstop power since you hardwire it to your existing doorbell wires. Just like with Ring’s other products, you’ll receive real-time notifications directly on your phone after it’s installed.
The doorbell is also Alexa compatible, so if you have an Echo Show, for example, you’ll be able to view and communicate with anyone who rings the doorbell – completely hands-free!
Other features include:
- 1080p HD video with 2-way talk, advanced motion detection, standard 2.4 GHs connectivity, and customizable privacy settings
- Get real-time notifications sent straight to your phone, compatible Alexa device, or Ring Chime so you’ll always know when someone stops by
- All installation tools come with the device
- Night vision with sharp contrast
- And so much more!
