Audio Radar Empowers Gamers to “See the Sound”

Audio Radar

Sound design and music play an important role in video game development and the overall gaming experience.

While sounds can create an immersive and realistic atmosphere, evoke emotions like fear, tension or joy and enhance storytelling, sound effects and cues also increase gamer awareness by communicating important information such as footsteps approaching or enemy danger nearby.

But for gamers who are deaf or hard of hearing, they miss out on these critical sound cues, limiting their ability to play as equally and effectively as hearing players.

See The Sound

Every gamer deserves a fair shot, no matter their disability. Officially launched during the tech trade show CES 2024, Audio Radar is a revolutionary new product that enables deaf or hard of hearing gamers to visually see directional cues, such as gunshots, footsteps or vehicles, through the use of lights.

See the sound with Audio Radar

With adaptive 7.1 surround vision technology, Audio Radar plugs into an existing game console to interpret audio output and convert it into lights through a series of attachable RGB light bars.

Set up is easy, as each light bar adheres to any standard computer monitor or television, and it accurately displays sound effects heard in the game based on intensity and direction.

This instantly transforms a deaf or hard of hearing person’s experience when playing a game, as they no longer need to miss out on respective directional cues or approaching noises, which are essential elements of games.

Customize to Your Liking

The Audio Radar light bars are fully customizable, as they can be programmed to match existing game color schemes with dark blues, greens, or reds (or more!). They can also be ideally set up for streaming and selfie lighting scenes with warm whites for gamers who prefer to stream their content.

With over 16 million different colors to choose from, players can customize their Audio Radar to their liking for each game based on color, brightness, behavior or sensitivity for enhanced spatial awareness per each light bar.

Gamers can also switch between presets at the touch of a button with the panel bar. Audio Radar is compatible with a variety of gaming consoles, including Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation and PC for hundreds of the nation’s top games. All a player needs to do is plug it in!

Gaming for All

Let’s amplify equality for all gamers, no matter what disability they are living with. Audio Radar helps level the playing field for deaf and hard of hearing gamers to give individuals the best, most accurate gaming experience possible.
