AM229 – Meijer’s Grocery Delivery Service Shipt

Hey there! Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assistive Technology, those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs!

So we’ve been talking a lot about different grocery delivery services in recent months.  I just heard this past week that Meijer is yet another store offering their very own delivery service!  Meijer has paired with a delivery service, called Shipt (spelled S-H-I-P-T) that allows customers to have their goods delivered to their door.

To use the service, simply select the Shipt membership option you’d like: either yearly for $99 or monthly for $14 each month.  Then you can shop via the Shipt app and local shoppers will do the shopping for you!  Once you place your order, your products can be delivered straight to your door within an hour!
