Hey there! Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assistive Technology, those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs!

Did you know that 3.5% of U.S. adults have been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (AKA PTSD)? Many individuals with PTSD experience flashbacks which can quickly spiral into a full blown panic attack. If you or a loved one has a history of panic attacks and/or PTSD, check out the PTSD Coach App.

PTSD Coach is an app designed by the Veterans Administration. It can be a useful tool for individuals with anxiety, depression, panic disorder, PTSD, and more. The app provides you with education about PTSD, information about professional care, tools that can help you manage daily stresses and more!

A neat feature about the app is that you can customize tools based on your preferences and can integrate your own photos, contacts, and music.

Check PTSD Coach out on the App Store or Google Play to learn more!
