Hey there! Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assistive Technology, those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs!
Over the years we’ve covered several apps for mobile devices to help individuals with math. However, we haven’t discussed a lot of resources available right on your web browser. If you’re looking for an online math tool, check out the EquatIO Google Chrome Extension!
According to its website, the EquatIO Chrome Extension is “a perfect partner for Google Docs plus Sheets, Forms, Slides, and Drawings.” The extension allows you to add math equations, formulas, and more to documents with a simple click!
You can dictate formulas and extensions and it will transform your spoken input into written expressions. You can also handwrite equations on your touchscreen or touchpad!
Other features include:**
- You can try the premium version for 30 days for free
- You can input equations using your keyboard, or by handwriting, and voice dictation
- Ability to create interactive digital math quizzes
- And much more!
Check it out TextHelp.com or the Google Chrome Web Store to learn more!
