Did you know you could borrow eBooks, audiobooks, and more from your local public library – for free? Libby, by OverDrive, is a free app that connects you to your local public library virtually.
To use the app, just log in using your library card, set up your free account with an email address and password, and you’re ready to go! Once you’re signed in, you can start exploring the library to find a book. You can either type in the name of an author, or title of a book, or explore ages, genres, etc.
This user-friendly app is ideal for people of all ages who have reading disabilities (e.g. comprehension difficulties, dyslexia, etc.), low vision, and more. The Libby app features an intuitive eBook reader as well as a “ground-breaking” audio player.
