Over the years, I’ve written about several augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) apps, like the App2Speak or Otsimo AAC apps. Yet another available option is the Leeloo AAC app!
Leeloo AAC is an app designed to help individuals who are nonverbal communicate with their parents, teachers, and friends. It uses the AAC and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) principles which support children with autism (or other special needs) to communicate easily.
Several AAC apps are aimed for older children, but Leeloo is developed for children as young as 4. While it features pre-configured and tested cards for kiddos in preschool or elementary school, the app can be personalized for individuals of all ages.
